Parent's Roles

Studies show that students whose parents are actively involved in their academics are more likely to:
  • Earn higher grades and test scores.
  • Graduate from high school and attend post-secondary education.
  • Develop self-confidence and motivation in the classroom.
  • Have better attendance.
We encourage parents to remain active in their MAC Scholar's academic journey.  Parents can do this by talking with their students regularly about school, assisting students in monitoring grades and helping students communicate with teachers when neccessary.
